Lisa began teaching yoga in 2018, drawn to the practice as both a movement discipline and a healing tool. Becoming a Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, E-RYT felt like a natural fit. With a lifelong passion for staying active, she later expanded her work by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in senior fitness.
Having taught hundreds of classes and supported thousands of students, Lisa has developed a deep understanding of what truly matters to an aging population—safety, confidence, autonomy, and sustainable strength.
Her classes offer a safe, supportive environment where students are encouraged to move at their own pace, connect with their breath, and build strength and body awareness. Lisa’s approach emphasizes comfort, choice, and practical skillsthat support wellbeing both on and off the mat.
With a background in Psychology and advanced training in PTSD, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and workplace burnout, Lisa brings over 30 years of experience working with individuals impacted by trauma, including those in helping professions. This foundation deeply informs her trauma-sensitive teaching style and creates a space where students feel respected, empowered, and heard.
